Suds of Love, Inc.(Suds of Love Truck) was founded by Tina M. Bowen in July 2021. Tina is a retired Special Education Teacher with 31 years of experience. She received her B.S. in Education from UNC-Pembroke and her M.Ed. from Lesley University.  In 2019, she discovered one of her students was washing his clothes in a nearby creek and her heart received an assignment. As this "heart assignment" evolved, she envisioned a mobile laundry/shower service to assist unhoused individuals and those in need.  She is married to Brad Bowen and has one daughter, Reagan Leigh.  Tina is a member of Hyde Park Baptist Church, serves on the UNC-Pembroke Thomas School of Business Advisory Board, is a Guardian Ad Litem Volunteer, and is a member of Kiwanis Robeson-Lumberton.  She believes it takes many working together to make an impact on others and make a difference in our local communities.
