As the seasons shift and back-to-school routines settle in, fall becomes the perfect time to reflect on what it means to support your community. At Suds of Love, we believe that even the smallest act of kindness can ripple into life-changing impact. There are plenty of ways you can make a real difference this season.

Here are three meaningful ways you can help Suds of Love this fall.

1. Donate Hygiene Items for Our Kits

Did you know that we distribute hygiene kits to individuals and families experiencing homelessness and poverty throughout southeastern North Carolina? Each kit includes essentials like soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, combs, feminine products, and more. These kits aren't just practical, they're packed with dignity and care.

Our supply shelves are always in need of replenishment, and we make it easy for you to give. By shopping our Amazon Wish List, you can have hygiene products shipped directly to us with just a few clicks.

2. Volunteer for a Serve Day or Help Behind the Scenes

Our Serve Days are where the heart of Suds of Love shines. Each outreach event provides mobile laundry services, private showers, fresh hygiene kits, and hope, right in the communities that need it most. But Serve Days don’t happen without the hands and hearts of volunteers.

There are many ways you can get involved:

• Help prep laundry kits or hygiene bags before an eventJoin us on-site to assist guests and run the laundry units

• Pray over our guests and eventsOffer behind-the-scenes support like organizing supplies or managing outreach follow-up

No matter your skill set or availability, there's a place for you in this work.

3. Help Fund Our New Laundry Trailer Project

We are actively raising funds to purchase and equip a new enclosed Laundry Trailer, along with a truck to tow it. This upgrade will allow us to serve more people, more efficiently, and with greater comfort in every season.

Our goal is to raise $15,000 to make this vision a reality and every dollar counts. Whether you're able to give $15 or $500, your donation fuels something deeply meaningful: clean clothes, restored dignity, and hope on wheels.
