Kindness in Action: How You Can Serve Without Stepping on the Truck

At Suds of Love, Inc., we believe restoring dignity doesn't require a uniform or a set schedule — just a heart that’s willing. While our mobile laundry ministry relies on dedicated volunteers, we know that not everyone can physically be there to help. The good news? There are plenty of meaningful ways to serve without ever stepping foot on the truck.
Whether you're local to Brunswick County, NC, or supporting from afar, here's how you can make a difference right now:
1. Donate Hygiene Supplies
Clean clothes are just part of the picture — we also provide hygiene kits filled with essentials for daily life. Current needs include:
Detergent pods
Feminine products
Deodorant
Razors
Socks (all sizes)

2. Sponsor a Laundry Day
Each laundry day costs approximately $200–$300, depending on the location and need. Your sponsorship ensures families can access free laundry services, hygiene kits, and emotional support from our team.
You can sponsor:
A full laundry event
A specific family in crisis
A washer/dryer install at a school

3. Join Our Prayer Team
Some of our most faithful partners never pick up a laundry basket — they lift up our team and guests in prayer.
Prayer requests are sent out monthly, and we welcome new prayer warriors any time. To join, just email: admin@sudsoflovetruck.org
4. Coordinate a Community Drive
Want to get your church, small group, classroom, or business involved?
Hosting a donation drive for hygiene products, new socks, or laundry items is an incredible way to engage your circle and multiply your impact.
We’ll even help you promote the drive and coordinate delivery or pickup in Brunswick County or surrounding areas.
5. Become a Monthly Supporter
Consistency is key in ministry. By becoming a monthly donor, you provide a reliable stream of support that helps us plan and expand our outreach in North Carolina.
Even $10/month can make a tangible difference.
